How come other companies are appling fertilizer before you ?

This is a common pratice in the industry that is not correct according to the cycle of plant growth and the way products react with enviromental conditions. This only helps their profits and cash flow grow not the health of your turf and landscape plants.

Do we need an insecticide applied to our turf for grubs?
|
|
Not normally, grubs attack and shorten the root system of the turf. If you continue to keep the turf watered it will live on a shortened root system. Although there is a level where the grub population can get too high and then an insecticide is reccommended. We do not just apply and insecticide to your turf just to increase our profit like many other companies.

Why are some companies much cheaper then yours?

There are many ways that other companies cut cost. One way they shortchange you on the products that they apply and if you don't catch them then they save money.(Known as just hanging paper or bills)Another way is they use a cheaper product without slow release fertilizer or mirco nutrients in it thus effecting the turf in the long run.

Why should i care who applies fertilizer to my lawn as long as it gets done?

The same reason you don't go to a butcher to have a heart transplant. You go to a doctor that knows his or her field of work best and has the background to prove it.(ALWAYS ASK ABOUT BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE) Save going to the butcher for your fine steaks you eat while looking at your really green and healthy landscape.
